Trauma-Informed Therapy

Healing from what hurt you is possible — at your own pace, in a space that feels safe.

  • Online & in-person
  • Trauma-informed
  • Queer-affirmative
  • Confidential

Difficult and painful experiences can leave a lasting mark — on how we feel, how we relate to others, and how safe the world seems. If the past is showing up in your present through anxiety, hyper-vigilance, flashbacks, numbness, or trouble trusting, trauma-informed therapy can help.

What “trauma-informed” means

Both of our counsellors practise in a trauma-informed and queer-affirmative way. That means we prioritise your sense of safety, choice, and control at every step. We never rush you, we don’t ask you to relive more than you’re ready to, and we hold your story with care and confidentiality.

How we can help

We support people working through:

  • The lasting effects of trauma and painful past experiences
  • Anxiety, hyper-vigilance, and feeling constantly “on edge”
  • Emotional numbness or disconnection
  • Difficulty trusting or feeling safe in relationships
  • Low self-worth rooted in earlier experiences

Our approach

Drawing on CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness, and person-centred methods, we help you build safety and coping skills first, then gently process what you’re ready to — at a pace you set.

Available online and in person. Healing is possible — reach out below whenever you feel ready.
