Postnatal & New-Parent Support

New parenthood can be overwhelming as well as joyful. You deserve support, not silence.

  • Online & in-person
  • Trauma-informed
  • Queer-affirmative
  • Confidential

The arrival of a baby brings enormous change — and it’s okay if you don’t feel the way you expected to. Low mood, anxiety, exhaustion, guilt, and feeling disconnected are far more common than many parents realise, and they are not a sign of failing. With the right support, you can feel like yourself again.

Compassionate support for new parents

Our counsellor Tanu Mehra holds a Diploma in Postnatal Depression Awareness, which deepens our understanding of the unique struggles new parents face. We offer a safe, confidential space to talk honestly, without judgment.

We support parents experiencing:

  • Postnatal (postpartum) depression and anxiety
  • Overwhelm, exhaustion, and loss of identity
  • Guilt, intrusive thoughts, and feelings of not being “enough”
  • Difficulty bonding or adjusting to a new role
  • Relationship strain in the transition to parenthood

You don’t have to carry it alone

Through a gentle, person-centred approach, we help you make sense of what you’re feeling, ease the pressure, and rebuild your emotional wellbeing at your own pace.

If you are having thoughts of harming yourself or your baby, please seek urgent help from a doctor or local emergency services right away. This page is for support and is not a substitute for emergency care.

Available online and in person. Reach out below — you deserve care and kindness in this season.
